Which scratching post suits you & your cat?
The floor-standing version convinces with its extremely minimalist appearance. The construction is reduced to the bare essentials and thus blends even more discreetly into your living style.
In the 'with wall mount' version, the scratching post is attached to the wall at 2 contact points. Due to the double fixation with the wall, the construction is enormously stable.
You are very flexible in assembly because you can vary the distance of the post from the floor and thus gain climbing distance.
Your cat can either jump onto the post from the floor and zoom upwards, or it can start from the lower wall mount.
Because we chose a sufficiently large distance of 24cm between the wall and the post, your cat gets an additional level with the seating surface of the lower wall bracket. The lower wall bracket not only provides stable support but can also be used by your cat as a seating surface and launchpad to zip upwards.
A practical side effect - mopping and vacuuming the floor is no problem, as there is no post in the way.
