Who is behind MONIMARI? Tanja Angermeier moved out of her parents' home at 16 to attend the vocational high school for design in Frankfurt. She has remained true to design ever since.

Where does the name MONIMARI come from?

Yvonne Sedlacek - the co-founder - and Tanja Angermeier developed the name together. It is composed of their mothers' first names. When Tanja Angermeier then took over MONIMARI, she was allowed to keep the name - which she considers a great honor.
