Who is behind MONIMARI? Tanja Angermeier moved out of her home at 16 to attend the technical college for design in Frankfurt. She has remained true to design ever since.

Where does the name MONIMARI come from?

Yvonne Sedlacek - the co-founder - and Tanja Angermeier developed the name together. It is composed of the first names of their mothers. When Tanja Angermeier then took over MONIMARI, she was allowed to continue using the name - which she considers a great honor.
