We use wood and sisal for the scratching post, so your cat gets a product that is as close as possible to its natural habitat.
The high-quality birch multiplex plywood - manufactured in Finland according to strict sustainability principles - perfectly emphasises the understated style of our cat furniture. The edges with their decorative pattern of the individual layers of wood form a unique contrast to the white surfaces.
In this way, our straightforward, simple design with its clear shapes is shown to its best advantage.
3 sisal colours
We cover the sturdy solid wood trunk with sisal carpet. The sisal carpet gives the scratching post a natural touch and is perfect for your cat's scratching post. The sisal fibre is a very robust and insensitive natural fibre. Due to its rough texture, it offers ideal resistance for the cat's claws.
To increase the longevity of the trunks, we have developed a trunk system that avoids exposed joints in the carpet where it quickly frays.
To help you capture the mood of your home style, you can choose from 3 subtle sisal colours - sand, grey-brown & anthracite.

Claw Care & Territory Marking
Your cat sharpens its claws to keep them in shape - during claw sharpening they are cleaned and sharpened. Worn out horny sleeves are stripped off. When sharpening its claws, your cat also leaves behind messages such as "Attention! Here I am! Scents are emitted through the paw pads while scratching.
In nature, vertical objects such as tree trunks are often used for territory marking. Cats will stretch as far as possible to leave their tracks on top of other markings.
