Assembly

For assembly, you will need a drill, a screwdriver, a spirit level, and a ladder.

We will supply you with dowels, screws, and assembly instructions.

The assembly kit includes dowels and screws suitable for solid/load-bearing walls made of concrete and solid brick.

Please ensure that the wall intended for assembly is sufficiently stable to bear the weight.

The wool felt used is particularly thick, dimensionally stable & consists of 100% pure new wool - certified according to Ökotex 100. Felt as a raw material is characterized by many positive properties. It is heat and cold insulating, breathable, dirt-repellent, dimensionally stable and, last but not least, it is a renewable raw material.

Fabric

For you & your cat to enjoy your hammock for as long as possible, the fabric should be durable, robust & hard-wearing.

The organic canvas used meets all these requirements. From a subtle gray to a vibrant purple, everything is included. The colors make the hammock a stylish eyeCATcher in your home.

2-color reversible hammock

The colors can be combined. But that's not all! Thanks to the reversible function, the hammocks can be used on both sides. You can easily vary the style of the hammock by flipping it over - so you can choose a color depending on your mood & don't have to buy separate hammocks.

Questions about the Cat Hammock

Do I need additional items if I hang the hammock higher?

Ideally, mount your cat's favourite spot at head height. This way, your cat is right in the middle of the action without having to sacrifice safety. You can also pet your cat as you walk by – perfect for cuddly felines who love proximity.

An elevated spot is especially ideal for social but cautious cats: They can observe what's happening from a safe distance, for example, when visitors are present, and decide for themselves when they want to get involved.

Even in multi-cat households, elevated retreats are particularly valuable. They offer your cat the opportunity to avoid conflicts or to retreat after small squabbles and relax in peace.

Do I need additional elements if I mount the hammock higher?

Yes, this is highly recommended. If your cat cannot reach the hammock directly and safely, you should plan suitable ascent and descent options.

Multiple intermediate levels are ideal, for example, shelves, chests of drawers, or our jumping posts, which allow your cat to comfortably get up and down. Also, make sure that landing surfaces on shelves and and chests of drawers are non-slip.

Can the hammock be exchanged?

Yes, you can reorder the hammocks individually and offer your cat new variations – fabric vs. felt – padded vs. unpadded.
